Update on ‘forever foster’ kitty Megan’s condition

An update on our lovely forever foster sweetheart Megan.

Megan has been recovering well from her eye operation for her glaucoma and all went well. Megan’s other eye had also been affected and her forever foster mum and dad had been treating it with eye drops to try and help reduce the pressure behind the eye.

Unfortunately, the pressure in this other eye has become too much and as it seems Megan has no sight in this eye, our vet feels it is best to also remove this eye. This will much improve her quality of life and any pain she has from this eye.

She had her operation on 9th June┬áso please keep her in your thoughts. She has adjusted so well to her other operation that we’re sure she’ll be totally fine once she is back home and settled. She is the sweetest little cat and has a lovely coat. She is so happy in her foster home and loves to eat yummy bowls of chicken!

If you would like to help towards the cost of Megan’s 2nd eye operation, we would really appreciate anything you could to us with covering this important operation to make sure Megan has the best quality of life she can – she deserves the very best!
