Foster cat Mowgli – missing for over a year – FOUND!

Do you remember Mowgli & Baloo – two of our foster cats who escaped from their foster home in Laindon in October 2017 – we flooded the area with posters and leaflets and did extensive searches but there were no confirmed sightings.

Imagine our amazement and joy when we got a call from fellow rescue Orphan Annie’s who were called to scan a black cat who had been visiting a kind person’s garden for around 6 weeks and they had been feeding him. They scanned him and IT’S MOWGLI! Luckily all our foster cats are microchipped to Purrs before they are adopted so they can still be traced to us – WE ARE AMAZED but so HAPPY!

We truly believe that Baloo must still also be in the area (Laindon, Lee Chapel) so please be on the look out for a stray black cat Рwe never gave up hope on these beautiful cats and hope that Baloo will soon be found too. Please keep everything crossed. & even better, they would like to adopt Mowgli <3

PLEASE PLEASE get your cats microchipped and PLEASE PLEASE keep their details up to date – it could be the reason you’re reunited if they are lost or stolen.

Big thanks again to everyone at Orphan Annies Rescue!
